TYING INSTRUCTIONS
ADAMS DRY

MATERIALS

Hook: Any standard dry fly hook will do. Ex. Mustad - 94833.
Thread:6/0 gray prewaxed
Tail: brown and grizzly mixed rooster hackle fibers.
Body: gray Superfine Dry Fly Dubbing.
Wings: grizzly hackle tips.
Hackle: brown and grizzly mixed, rooster neck or saddle hackle.

NOTE:Many of the operations for tying the Adams Dry Fly are similar to techniques used in the Light Cahill. The wings are hackle tips instead of wood duck and are tied in after the tail and body are finished and the color of materials are different. The sequence of operations and results are listed bellow.
