Hook: | Any standard dry fly hook will do. |
Thread: | 6/0 yellow |
Wing: | Woodduck flank feather |
Tail: | light ginger or creme hackle fibers |
Body: | Creme or light ginger Superfine Dry Fly Dubbing. |
Hackle: | light ginger or creme, rooster or saddle hackle. |
Comments: The great thing about learning to tie the light cahill is once you master it, you can tie several other flies by just changing the colors of the materials.
